IBM Institute for Business Value has interviewed over 1.500 CEO’s worldwide, to better understand the challenges and goals of today’s CEOs.

One of the widely shared perspectives in the report, called “Capitalizing in creativity”, is that creativity is the singlemost important leadership competency for enterprises seeking a path through today’s complex business world.

“Creativity is the most important leadership quality, according to CEOs. Standouts practice and encourage experimentation and innovation throughout their organizations. Creative leaders expect to make deeper business model changes to realize their strategies. To succeed, they take more calculated risks, find new ideas, and keep innovating in how they lead and communicate”, the report states.
